Bursaries - Saanich Peninsula Hospital Auxiliary

Every year, the Auxiliary grants two bursaries of $2,500 each to deserving students in healthcare fields to put toward their education. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF OUR PAST WINNERS!

Applications for our 2024 bursaries will be accepted in the fall of 2024. To find out if you qualify for our bursary and apply please review the criteria and application forms below.

The deadline for submitting applications for 2024 Bursaries is September 15, 2024.

2023 Bursary Winners

Our winners for 2023 have been selected and notified. We are happy to announce these 2 hard working students as the winners. Congratulations!

Sierra Hall

Sierra, who has a BSc Honours in Kinesiology from UVIC, is in her first year of the accelerated BSc Nursing degree at UBC.

Here is what she says about being awarded this bursary:

“This bursary will significantly help support my nursing education, and I’m grateful to have the opportunity to continue to explore the field of nursing, develop nursing skills, and embark on a career of lifelong learning. “

Veda Smith

Veda is in her second year of a four-year doctoral program at UBC and also has a BSc Honours in Kinesiology from UVIC.
