As of the end of June, we have approved the donation of over $30,000 to items intended for the care and comfort of our hospital patients and residents:
$10,00 towards the purchase of a custom built Aquarium display in the public area by the Extended Care entrance to the hospital. This is yet to be installed.
Approximately $1800 for 6 Picnic tables to replaced some well used ones in the common outdoor area by the hospital cafeteria.
Over $3500 for 8 wheelchair foot boxes that will protect the feet of patients and residents from bumps, scrapes and bruising while they are in wheelchairs.
$15,355 for a new blanket warming cabinet to replace an older unit that is no longer working well.
