We have a large selection of unique items to help you find the perfect gift, whether you are visiting someone in the hospital or looking for something small and unique for a friend or family member. Everyone is welcome to come in and browse in the shop, located just off the main entrance to the hospital. The gift shop is run by our great group of volunteers and all proceeds go to the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Auxiliary to provide care and comfort for patients and extended-care residents. All items in the Gift Shop are new. We carry lovely hand crafted knitted and sewn items made by our very own auxiliary volunteer crafters.
A small sample of the edible items we stock includes candy, nuts, cookies, cold drinks, tea, hot chocolate and coffee. For reading material, we carry books and the local newspaper. In addition to our renowned handcrafted knitwear, we have handbags, jewellery, fashionable ladies casual clothing, First Nations Art items, mugs, slippers, stuffies, decorative items, and all sorts of personal care items! In the winter months we have a popular selection of hats, gloves and scarves.
